Product Management (with Product Attribute)

The following guide will help you manage products that have Product Attribute. If your products also don't have Product Attribute please click here to check Manage Product

Manage Product

After log in to the Content Management System. You click on the "Products" on the left menu to go to the Manage Product. The system will transfer you to the "Manage Product" as showing below.
If you have not add any Product Attribute. The system will show the message as showing below

There is no product attribute. Please add product attribute first
Click here to manage product attribute and start add new attribute.
You have to add product attribute first. If do not have product attribute your product will do not Price, because the price associate with Product Attribute

If you already have Product Attribute. The "Manage Product" will showing below.

Add New Product

From "Manage Product" screen click "New Product" button to add a new product for your website. System will tranfer you to the New Product form as showing below.
After input all product information. Click "Publish" button to publish your product to the website.

Instructions for fields in New Product form

  1. Product Name: The name of the product.
  2. Brief Description: If have will display with Product Name in list product page
  3. Content: The content of the product will be display in the detail page. You can format the text, insert images,... like using MS Word.
  4. Image: The main image of product. Click "Select Image" button and select image from your computer
  5. Product Code: Code of product.
  6. Ordering: The display order in list product page.
  7. Category: The category of product (Use to categorize if your website have many products. Only available if you choose Include category for product when you build your website. )
  8. Status: Display status of the product as showing below.
    • Draft: The draft version. Will not display in the website.
    • Pending: The pending version . Will not display in the website.
    • Published:The published version . The image will display in the website.
    • Hide: Hide this product. Will not display in the website
  9. Display On: The display location of product
    • Top Menu: Will display in Top Menu (Main menu of the website. Below the menu of product page)
    • Bottom Menu: Will display in bottom of the website. (If the your website layout have enable products display on bottom of the page)
    • Home Product: Will display in home page (If the your website layout have enable products display on home page)
  10. Similiar Products: Click on this will pop out the list of products. You can check which product is similiar with the current product. The list similiar products will display in the product detail page below the current product information.
  11. Options: Click on this will pop out more options as showing below.
    • Tag: Tag of product.
    • Published Date & Expire Date: If have data the product will only display after Published Date and before Expire Date
  12. SEO Information: Click on this will pop out Search Engine Optimation options. For more information about Search Engine Optimation click here.

Update the current product

From "Manage Product" screen click "Edit" link on the product you wish to edit. The Update Product form will display as showing below.
After modify information. Click "Save" button to save the content.
Notes: The fields in Update Product form same as fields in New Product form

Delete a Product

From "Manage Product" screen click "Delete" link on the product you wish to delete. The system will display the confirmation window as showing below.
Click the "OK" button to delete, the product will be removed from your website. If do not wish to delete just click "Cancel" button.

Update Products display order

From "Manage Product" screen to update the display order. Just enter the sort order in the Order column then click the "Update Order" button.
